Longest tunnel on the Monsal Trail and great to explore and walk through. The tunnel is 533 yards (or 490 meters ) in length. It is lit during daylight hours and has a surfaced path going through the middle. Used by walkers and cyclists. It offers access to the Monsal Head Viaduct which offers stunning views and links to walks away from the trail.
