Stayed for 3 days in December. Quite, cozy, and close to the big houses and estates. The market is super close. The road up to this place is very narrow, and relatively steep. During winter probably want to get a 4 or all wheel drive.

We stayed in Dunsa cottage...very comfortable and clean and contained everything we needed. We walked to Chatsworth House one day (about 45mins...one of the tracks does need care when walking) and into Bakewell the next (about 25 mins). Would definitely stay again, highly recommended.

Stayed at ball across farmhouse (but I like to call it balls across farmhouse) for a couple days with family. This place is just great. The beds were very comfy and soft.
The kitchen and dining room were also nice and warm. The living room was cozy with a giant tv and a fireplace. Would stay again!
